Menu

The main menu gets generated from the folder structure beneath the folder webcontents. Each folder will generate a new page for your website, the max depth rendered will be 2, the third level will however be displayed on its parent page.

The following folder structure will generate a basic menu, as seen on many websites:

• webcontents/

  • About/

  • Gallery/

  • Imprint/

  • Welcome.md

Depending on the content in those folders, slCMS will choose the right page template to display those contents in a visually interesting manner.

Content Types

slCMS handles different content types and combinations thereof in special ways. Special files are:

• .txt

• .md

• .png, .PNG

• .jpg, .JPG, .jpeg, .JPEG

• .bmp, .BMP

• .gif, .GIF

Every other type will appear in a download section beneath the content.

The Markdown files (.md) support standard GitHub flavored markdown. It can contain headings, tables, codeblocks, quotes, images etc.
